The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) requires the services of a
Contractor to provide on-site support for its automated data processing
(ADP), telecommunications, and help desk functions. These services
include on-site computer via, telephone and in person, at the caller's
work area: development and maintenance of microcomputer based
programs; word processing and other software and wardware support;
communications and network support; programming; training and technical
assistance to OJP on the use of existing and new systems; and
administration, trouble-shooting, repair and new installation for OJP's
Local Area Network (LANs) and stand-alone equipment. Proposal
evaluation will emphasize technical approach, cost will be secondary in
importance. It is anticipated that a labor-hour contract will be
utilized. The period of performance will be for a base year and three
option years. Interested Offerors should submit requests for RFP No.
OJP-98-R-004 in writing no later than (NLT) 15 days subsequent to the
date of publication of this announcement. Telephone requests will not
