The purpose and intent of this contract is to secure services for precommercial thinning on approximately 155 acres of conifer reproduction approximately 22 years old. The Contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, housing, subsistence, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items listed as Government-furnished property. The thinning unit is located in the Twelve Mile Creek area on Prince of Wales Island, approximately 20 air miles southeast of Craig, Alaska. The unit is approximately 37 road miles from Craig, Alaska and about 28 road miles from Hollis and the ferry terminal. This project is 100% Small Business set-aside. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
