E-MAIL: Labor and Moving Services, Harry.E.Lundy@dos.us-state.gov. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has a requirement for labor and moving services for office and inter-office moves. Services include relocating office furniture, supplies, and equipment and dismantling, assembling, and erecting unitized office furniture, partitions and shelf files. Some support for official DOS functions are also required. The services shall be performed in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland locations within a 161 kilometer (100 miles) radius. A labor hour indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity contract is contemplated for a base year and four option years. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about January 14, 1998, as a 100% Smal Business Set-Aside. Proposals from large business firms will not be considered for the contract award. For purposes of this solicitation, the SIC Code is 4212, and the small business size standard is $18.5 million. To qualify as a small business under this solicitation, a small business size standard is a concern and its affiliates that have average annual receipts for the preceding three years not in excess of $18.5 million. The solicitation utilized sources selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
