Hill/Pkwtp/ [937]257-7298 Construction Refurbishment, Aeronautical Systems Center, Foreign Military Sales Office (ASC/PKWTP) is contemplating the acquisition of two (2) construction requirements in Taif, Saudi Arabia. This 6 month acquisition encompasses repair, refurbishment and minor construction of: 1) Avonics Shop Bldg. and 2) Aircraft Support Equipment Shop Bldg. The successful contractor shall provide labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform this effort. The successful contractor must possess a current Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce Commercial Registration. Therefore, only those registered to do business in Saudi Arabia will be considered for award. This is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. Interested contractors are requested to provide a capability statement which is to include the following and shall be limited to two (2) pages: 1) Company Background, 2) Statement of ability to perform the minor construction projects as stated above, and, 3) Administrative information; complete address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers and overnight delivery account number. Mr. Michael S. Coalson has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact Ron Hill, (937) 257-7298, extension 4528.
