The work includes removal and disposal of asbestos material and material coated with lead-containing paint, selective demolition of an existing BEQ, roof replacement, doors, interior finishes, an interior fire alarm system, sprinkler system, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, demolition and removal of several buildings in their entirety and incidental work at FCTC Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a Request For Proposal (RFP) and requires the submission of technical and price proposals. Price and technical are of equal value. The technical criteria consists of 1) Corporate Experience and Resources, 2) Project Management, and 3) Support of Small Business in the performance of the contract. Plans and Specifications will be available on or after 12/05/97. Bid Opening Date is 01/13/98. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come first serve basis. No charge will be made for thefirst set of specifications available to each requestor. Estimated cost range $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This project is not set aside for small business concerns.
