E-MAIL: Shelly L. Whittaker, Shelly.Whittaker-1@ksc.nasa.gov. NASA/KSC plans to issue a IFB/ Request for Offers for Replace Potable Water Piping and Firex System at VAB. The work for this project consists of provididng the labor, equipment and materials to remove existing galvanized steel potable water piping, insulation, valves, supports, fittings, etc. in accordance with the project drawings. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 443 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1711 and $7.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about 12/10/97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 1/9/98. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the IFB/RFO. Drawings will be available from the Bid Distribution Office 407-867-2851.
