99 -- CONFERENCE SUPPORT/HOTEL LODGING SOL RFQ80040-NS DUE 120997 POC Patricia Haun, Contracting Officer (310) 496-8613 The National Cancer Institute proposes to issue a Request for Quotation within 15 days after the date of this publication for conference and lodging to support a Clinical Trials Information System Design meeting which will consist of approximately 150 scientists, clinicians, consumer advocates, and Government staff. The meeting is scheduled for February 8 -- February 11, 1998 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Included in this support is: 1) overnight sleeping arrangements for 135-150 individuals for February 8thand 9th and approximately 25-30 individuals for February 10th, 2) food services on site (offering three meals as a group [buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner acceptable], AM and PM breaks). One meal on February 8th (dinner or reception), 3 meals and 2 breaks on February 9th, 2 meals and 1 break for all attendees and 1 meal and 1 break on February 10th and 2 meals and 1 break on February 11th, 3) a conference room to accommodate 150+ individuals for the afternoon of February 8th (2-7p.m.) the morning of February 9th (8a.m. -- 12p.m.) and the morning of February 10th (8a.m. -- 12p.m.), 4) 10 breakout conference rooms to accommodate 15 individuals for the afternoon of February 9th (1p.m. -- 5p.m.), 5) one conference room to accommodate 20-30 individuals for the afternoon of February 10h (1p.m. -- 5p.m.) and the morning of February 11th (8a.m. -- 12p.m.), 6) in house audio/visual equipment, 7) acceptance of the government per diem rate of $166 per day for food and lodging for all participants, 8) complimentary transportation to and from Dulles Airport; and 9) must be located within 30 miles of Dulles Airport and the NIH Campus.
