H -- BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT TO TEST AND INSPECT THE ALLISON 501-K34 AND 501-K17 GAS TURBINE ENGINES SOL N00024-98-G-4049 POC 02424M, Melanie Harvey, 703-602-0202 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-98-G-4049 with Allison Engine Co., 2001 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Orders will be issued to test and inspect the 501-K34 and 501-K17 Gas Turbine Engines. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Allison Engine Co. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the 501-K34 and 501-K17 Gas Turbine Engines and the only source that possesses the necessary technical data, expertise, equipment and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Navy's requirement.
