Woodring, (806)354-7836 VAMC Amarillo, Texas requires the services of qualified physicians t staff the Life Support/Emergency Room, 24 hours a day, 6 days a week (excluding Sundays). VA requires that physicians providing coverage during normal administration hours, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, will be board certified. Durinng off-hours, weekends, and holidays, PGY-2 and 3 residents are acceptable. However, effective July 1, 1998, only PGY-3 residents will be acceptable. Malpractice insurance in the amounts of $1,000,000 per incedent and $3,000,000 anuual aggregate will be required. The anticipated start date for this contract will be January 19, 1998, and will run for one year. Solicitations will be available on or about December 10, 1997.
