Z -- MULTIPLE AWARD INDEFINITE QUANTITY ASBESTOS REMOVAL CONRFACT FOR FIVE YEARS SOL GS-02P-98-PLD-0009 DUE 011398 POC Roxanne Gill, Contracting Officer, (212) 264-0675 Provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and tools necessary to perform an Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Asbestos Removal Contract, for the New York City Metropolitan area, Upstate New York, Long Island and New Jersey, (Counties of Bergen, Essex, Union, Morris, Passaic, Hudson, Middlesex and Monmouth). This solicitation is for indefinite quantity asbestos services for construction projects for a five-year period, ranging in dollar value from $2,500.00 to $250,000.00. The estimated cost for asbestos projects awarded under the resulting contract for a given year is approximately $500,000,000.00. This procurement is being conducted using the Source Selection Procedures. The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable offer after final evaluation of the technical factors and consideration of the Best and Final offer prices. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a multiple award contract (awards made to more than one offeror). It is estimated that award will be made to no more than three (3) offerors meeting the criteria outlined in the solicitation. Individual delivery orders exceeding $2,500.00 may be competed among the Offerors that receive a contract award under this solicitation, unless the Government deems otherwise, on an individual delivery order. Offerors will be required to submit prices for the line items included in the solicitation. Individual orders will be placed with the awarded Contractor whose price for a priced line item(s) listed in the contract, is the lowest received, when only price is a factor. However, when factors other than price (i.e., performance time, and other terms and conditions), are a consideration for delivery order award, award will be made to the Contractor who best meets the required factors. The contract resulting from this solicitation will have a performance period of one (1) year for the base contract period and four (4) Unilateral (1) one year options. The SIC Code for this procurement is 1799. This procurement is Open to Both Large and Small Business concerns. A Pre-Proposal conference has been scheduled for December 22, 1997 at 10:00 AM in Rm. 3006 at 26 Federal Plaza, 30th Floor, New York, NY.
