46 -- UPGRADE FLIGHTLINE WATER & RESTORE WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM SOL N33191-97-C-1003 DUE 121797 POC Alexis Kemper (202) 482-1512 The United States Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering Field Activity Mediterranean invites bids to Upgrade Flightline Water and Restore a Waste Disposal System at Aviano Air Base in Italy. The basic project includes the installation of one elevated storage tank; the demolition of one existing elevated storage tank; the addition and alteration of primary and secondary distribution branches to existing primary water mains, hydrants, pumphouse, shutoff valves and cathodic protection. Included in the scope are trenching, backfiling, seeding, pavement repair, all utilities and necessary support. The waste Disposal System includes the installation of approximately 13,120 meters of sanitary sewer piping and 1046 meters of force piping, manholes, (3)pump stations, and incidental related work. Options to this contract can include (1) Restore Water Storage/Pumps,Flightline and (2) Upgrade Water Distribution System.
