Grubbe (540) 983-1049 The VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia requires the services of a professional Architect/Engineer firm to prepare design drawings, construction documents, and construction period services for Project Number 98-103, Renovation of Outpatient Primary Psychiatric Care, Building 11. The work includes to provide professional A/E services for the preparation of design drawings, construction documents and construction period services to have the 1st and 2nd Floors of existing Building Number 11 at the Salem VAMC partially renovated to better adapt the existing space for the treatment of psychiatric outpatients. Seven (7) large open ward spaces (approximately 8,500 SF total) shall be subdivided for offices, interview rooms, group counseling rooms and exam/treatment rooms. The contract performance period shall be approximately 145 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The construction estimate for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The SIC Code is 8712. This procurement is restricted to those firms within a 100-mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia.
