J -- E-3&E-6 FLIGHT CREW TRAINING PROGRM SOL F42630-98-R-60128 DUE 030298 POC For copy, Shirley Wahl/Likt/[801]777-5371, For additional information contact Shirley Wahl/Likt/[801]777-5371 The government intends to obtain services for establishment of a Total Contractor Training Program for the E-3 and E-6 Flight Crew Training Program stationed at Tinker AFB OK. The proposed requirement is to provide the necessary services to train flight crew members for the E-3/E-6 aircraft, accomplish engineering operations, maintenance, logistics support, and curriculum updates. Four types of training devices are used for training : Flight Simulator (includes motion base), Cockpit Procedures Trainer, Navigator Part Task Trainer, and the Computer-Based Training System. The effort also includes the accomplishment of various related software and hardware modifications. A site visit will be held for all interested offerors prior to a preproposal conference. The time and date for these meetings will be provided in the formal solicitation that will be issued approximately 15 Jan 98. The period of performance will be from 1 Oct 1998 through 30 Sep 2003, and will consist of a one year basic contract with four one year option periods. This will be a competitive acquisition accomplished in accordance with AFR 70-30, Appendix BB, Streamlined Source Selection Procedures. Paper copies of the formal solicitation will NOT be provided.
