Knight, Jr., Contracting Officer, 202-708-8709 The General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in contracting with a qualified firm to provide an integrated set of non-severable services to include (1) safety and security; (2) cleaning and maintenance; (3) physical improvements to the public environment; (4) transportation and access; and parking management; and (5) assistance to providers of homeless services in downtown Washington, D.C. The area to be served is approximately 120 blocks bounded roughly by Massachusetts Avenue on the north, 16th Street on the west, I-395 on the east, and Constitution Avenue on the south. GSA owns approximately 14,400,000 square feet of space in this area. The purpose of this requirement is to make the environment surrounding GSA buildings in downtown Washington, D.C., safer, cleaner, and more attractive, and more user friendly. Any firm that responds to this notice must demonstrate its capability to work with District of Columbia government agencies to coordinate, monitor, and measure the services that bothparties will provide. It is GSA's belief that the required services are available from only one source. Concerns having the ability to furnish the services described above are requested to given written notification to the acquiring office within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this synopsis. This is not a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond must furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the subject services and may request a copy of the solicitation should it become available. (0332)
