D -- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to modify the existing contract option periods with Lockheed Martin Space Mission Systems (LM-SMS) for additional level of effort. This contract was for the design, implementation and integration of a Satellite Operations Management Subsystem (SOMS), to replace the existing Polar Acquisition and Command Subsystem (PACS) Scheduler schedule generation subsystem. In order to perform the required technical support services, it has been determined that additional level of effort technical support will be needed. This additional support will be to add (2) staff years over a one year period for each of two option periods, increasing the staff years per option period to three (3). Interested concerns shall submit a written narrative statement of capability to provide the required technical support services, including knowledge and familiarity with the developed system or similar PACS subsystems, sufficient to permit an agency analysis to determine a bona fide capability to meet the Government's requirements.
