NASA/LaRC plans to issue a IFB/ Request for Offers for Upgrades to Electrical Systems for Various Facilities (5 Facilities) including replace substations, switchgear, lighting, and transformers; install overhead roll-up door and fence; enlarge concrete pad; and other miscellaneous electrical modifications incidental to the substations replacement. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $500,000-$1,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 300 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1731 and $7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about December 23, 1997 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about January 23, 1998. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the IFB/RFO. Drawings and Specifications will be available from the Bid Distribution Office at (757) 864-2547.
