Unit is needed to sharpen fire tools (fire shovels and pulaskis) in the field and at fire camps. Unit shall be subjected to heavy use under harsh field conditions. Unit shall be easily maintained at work site. Overall weight of sharpener shall not exceed 55 pounds (121.0 kg). Unit shall be packed in sturdy container suitable for repeated shipments.
