Snyder, Contract Specialist (717)547-1641, ext. 546 The Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood, to include the Federal Prison Camp (FPC), the Low Security Correctional Institution (LSCI), the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), and the United States Penitentiary (USP), has a requirement for a qualified medical entity to provide health services to federal prisoners. The health services required would consist of inpatient and outpatient hospital services and laboratory services. The inpatient/outpatient services would be provided at the contractor's facility. Only medical facilities located within a thirty (30) mile radius will be utilized for inpatient/outpatient services. The laboratory services would be provided at the contractor's facility, but the contractor would be required to pick up specimens from each institution on a daily basis or as needed. Services will be required for a twelve month base period, with four twelve month option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make multiple awards for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract are as follows: Minimum inpatient days -- 48; Maximum inpatient days -- 350; Minimum outpatient visits -- 73; Maximum outpatient visits -- 500.
