The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. SIC Code is 7373. This requirement was initially sent synopsized in November, however it was delayed. This is a new synopsis. Work includes, but is not limited, to the installation of equipment cabinets, cable rack, category 5 unshielded twisted pair plenum LAN drops, fiber optic cable, and UTP patch panels for buildings 458, 464, 499, 507, 517 and 565 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. The contractor must provide nonpersonal services to include all labor, tools, materials, engineering and installation of 69 dual category 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) plenum LAN drops in the aforementioned listed buildings. Installation of the Ethernet switches and fiber optic media converters will be accomplished by the government. All work shall be performed on Offutt AFB, Nebraska between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding government holidays. The period of performance for these tasks shall be from date of award to 5 weeks thereafter. There will be a mandatory Site Visit for this requirement on 19 December 1997 at 2 P.M. No other Site Visits will be made available. It is made mandatory due to the complexity of work.
