The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 North Main Street, Stratford, CT 06601-1381, to develop and publish procedures suitable for inclusion in technical manuals for supporting the weight on wheels installation of the VH-3D and VH-60N survivability suite. Sikorsky has already been contracted via a separate action to develop and install the weight on wheels installation on VH-3D and VH-60N helicopters. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole developer and manuafacturer of the VH-3D and VH-60N helicopters and the only known source with the highly specialized expertise and technical data required to conduct the effort described above.
