Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mailout Pharmacy located in North
Charleston, South Carolina is requesting proposals for mail handling
support. It is anticipated that start up will begin in January, 1998.
It the intent of the Government to award a one year contract with two
option years. Staffing must have the ability to read, must be 18 years
old, a high school graduate and have the ability to stand long
periods, lift, twist, and stoop. The number of employees is estimated
and will be increased to approximately 10 employees, 40 hours per week,
Monday through Friday. They must have the ability to use bar code
scanner and manual dexterity to manipulate totes on and off belt and
seal packages. Bid packages will be availabe from the above address on
12/10/97 and proposals will be due by Charleston, SC time 2:00 p.m.
