The work consists of the demolition of an existing masonry waterborne facility; and the construction of a new heated waterborne facility with showers, sewer connection to existing lift station, solid turfing, parking stripping, sidewalks, h/c parking signs, and utility connections. The new facility includes the following finishes: ceramic tile, fiberglass reinforced plastic panels, integrally colored split faced cmu exterior walls, interior integrally colored cmu walls, fiberglass shingles, metal soffit and siding, metal doors, hardware, paint, toilet accessories, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. Estimated magnitude of work is between $100,000 and $250,000. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about December 22, 1997 at a cost of $41 for solicitations and full sized drawings; $48.25 for solicitations and half sized drawings; and $27.50 for solicitation only (all charges are nonrefundable). Solicitation documents will be made available upon written request to include check or money order payable to FAO, U.S. Army, LRD and mailed to Contracting Division at the above address. In order to receive documents in a timely manner, requests should be received by December 8, 1997.
