The work involves renovation/alteration of seven existing facilities totaling approximately 422,953 gross square feet to be utilized as dormitory, vocational and academic education classrooms, vocational shops, cafeteria and culinary arts training, and storage/support buildings at the San Francisco Job Corps Center, located in San Francisco, California. The extent of renovation required consist of new interior finishes, including floors, walls and ceiling, new doors, new roofing, new plumbing and HVAC systems, and new electrical systems, including fire alarm systems. The estimated cost range of construction is more than $10,000,000. All requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For request made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted, The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges.
