The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to negotiate a new contract with Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus Laboratories, for a contract to repeat studies to evaluate the toxicity and carcinogenicity of triethanolamine administered orally to B6C3F1 mice. The effort shall consist of Phase 1 -- Prestart Activities which includes chemical receipt and analysis and preparing and submitting a Prestart Chemistry Report to include Chemistry and Health and Safety activities, and Phase 2 -- 2-Year Study to include treatment, conducting observations, necropsy and pathology, and collecting tissues for oncogene evaluation.
