The original sources sought synopsis of 01 Dec 97 issued for the qualification screening process for the Financial Information Resources SysTem (FIRST) is hereby modified to include additional information regarding the demonstration. Element Three, the demonstration, is hereby changed to read as follows: The demonstration will be used to assess your capability in designing and developing financial information systems. Offerors have two options: (1) You may elect to provide an on-line demonstration of an existing client/server financial system you have implemented, or (2) You may elect to provide a demonstration of your conceptual design to build FIRST. In order to minimize your cost, this demonstration will be held at a location of your choice (i.e., lab, customer facility, factory, etc.) or in Building 216 (preferred location) at the Standard Systems Group, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Alabama. Demonstrations must be restricted to not more than four hours. We will schedule thedemonstrations and they will be conducted between 12-23 Jan 98. Please submit your location of choice along with your Technical Qualification package (19 Dec 97).
