Service is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Contract
(IQC) relative to miscellaneous minor repair & alteration projects at
various USPS owned and leased facilities located within the Buffalo
area of the Western New York District, which includes the New York
counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chataqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara,
Orleans, and Wyoming. The term of the contract will be for two (2)
years. One or more "Work Orders" will be issued totaling not less than
$10,000.00 nor more than $200,000.00 during the two (2) year period of
the contract. The initial limit of $200,000.00 may be increased by
modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting
Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000.00. Offers will consist of a
single multiplier. The multiplier will be applicable to each and every
item of work listed in the unit price schedule set forth in the
specifications. The Postal Service reserves the right to make multiple
awards on this IQC requirement. Sealed offers will be received in this
office, prior to, but not later than, 4:00 PM ET on January 6, 1998.
Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the
identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative
standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of
the contract is made. Offerors will be notified in writing upon award
of contract. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be
available on or about December 8, 1997 at a cost of $25.00 per set
(non-refundable) from the Facilities Servie Office, 6 Griffin Road
North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Only certified checks or money orders
will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U.S. Postal
Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-98-A-0027). Plans may be
inspected at the issuing office and information regarding their
availability may be obtained by contacting Catherine Delasco at (860)

Buffalo Processing & Distribution Center in Room B-9, 1200 William St.,
