Z -- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND ALTERATION OF REAL PROPERTY -- PM CALIBRATION, CERTIFICATION OF BOILER EQUIPMENT SOL IFB672-146-98 DUE 012298 POC Rey Clemente (787) 766-5389 The VA Medical Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico has a requirement for a service contract for preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and annual certification of boiler equipment to include deareactor maintenance, surge tank, and water softener inspection at the VA Medical Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business under standard industrial classification code (SIC) 8999 ($3.5M) . The Government's intent is to issue a firm fixed price service contract for a base year to begin on February 1, 1998 and continue until September 30, 1998 (Base Year) with the Government having the option to extend the contract annually for four (4) additional option years subject to availability of funds. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to provide preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and annual certification of boiler equipment to include deareactor maintenance, surge tank, and water softener inspection in accordance with contract specifications.Bidders shall be considered only from regularly established business with all applicable licenses, permits, etc. from the Federal Government, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Government, required to perform this service. Bids received without all required applicable licenses, permits, etc. from the Federal Government, and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Government will be considered non-responsive.
