We need a five year contract -- one year basic period with four one- year option periods -- for repair of a total BEQ of 169 of five items for the five year period. The items include the fuel pressurizing & dump valve and the fuel derichment solenoid valve. PN's as follows: 4050548, 4020232, 4041286/52690, 4050419/58820, 4062056, 4052122, 767860, and 426V2400. Delivery iaw the solicitation. Qualification requirements applicable and exist for all items and available upon request from the contact point. GFM/repair parts provided. All tools, facilities, and test equipment to be provided by the contractor. There are no currently USAF approved sources. Walsh-Healey applicable vice Services Contract Act. Contract type will be either requirements in excess of government capacity or multiple award ID/IQ and firm fixed price. This is a contingency/overflow requirement to provide interim contract support during the realignment of the San Antonio ALC. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
