P -- OCEAN SALVAGE SERVICES IN THE WESTERN PACIFIC AREA SOL N00024-98-R-4050 POC Contact Point, W. Nedbal, NAVSEA 0242,(703)602-0202 In order to ensure uninterrupted availability of services during a competitive reprocurement now in process, the Navy will be issuing a "bridge" contract extension to Smit International Singapore PTE LTD, 15 West Coast Highway #04-08, Pasir Panjang Building, Singapore 117861 to provide ocean salvage and ocean salvage-relaed services in the Western Pacific area. Tasks to include salvage, salvage related fire-fighting, towing, harbor clearance, ocean engineering and point-to-point towing. The extension will be for a six-month period commencing 24 December 1997 and ending 25 June 1998 (or upon award of the successor contract), with two options for three months each should unanticipated delays in the competitive reprocurement require it.
