Cavanaugh, 202-305-7302 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE:UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. is soliciting bids for a firm fixed price construction type contract to provide and deliver all materials and complete buidling kit for the construction of a new 15,000 square feet pre-engineered metal building addition to the existing warehouse at FCI Texarkana, TX. Construction work will include furnishing all exterior pedestrian and overhead doors, door framing, and hardware as shown on drawings. The building product design shall bear the professional seal of the manufacturer's engineer of record and shall include the following components: structural steel framing, includes beams, columns, girts, purlins, metal deck, door framing, and miscellaneous structural components as specified, exterior metal panels, furnish prefinished metal wall and roof panels, fasteners, trim, seals and miscellaneous components as required and roof and wall insulation. The successful bidder shall submit two (2) sets of 24"x36" construction drawings for fields fabrication. The magnitude of construction for this job is betwen 25,000.00 and 100,000.00.
