The work generally consists of appropriate site preparation, demolition, and removal of existing concrete sidewalks and pads. Additional work includes the removal of lattice fencing and the removal/replacement of designated shrubbery. All work to be completed within 120 calendar days from receipt of the "Notice To Proceed". Construction cost estimate: $25,000 to $100,000. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for January 14, 1998 at 10:30 AM (Local Time), Administrative Bldg., Barrancas National Cemetery, U.S. Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. A limited number of bid packages are available and will be issued at no cost on a first come, first served basis, to be requested in writing or by FAX at (228) 385-5796, prior to issuance on December 29, 1997. The award of this solicitation is subject to a 60-day bid acceptance time and is contingent on the availability of funds.
