Z -- MODERNIZE SWITCHBOARD IN BLDG 7, USCG ISC BOSTON, MA SOL DTCGG1-98-Q-3WK052 DUE 010998 POC Frank Pfeiffer, Contracting Officer, 401-736-1761 Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment as necessary to complete the work necessary to modernize the switchboard in Building 7 at the U. S. Coast Guard ISC Boston facility. Work includes but is not limited to (a) preventive maintenance of an exiasting Westinghouse 3000A, 480V, 3 phase switchboard including cleaning of the switchboard, torque bolts to manufacturer's recommendations, and replacement of minor parts; (b) retrofit of 15 DB style existing breakers including rebuilding of each breaker, installing new RMS solid state trip units, and testing of breakers, and (c) power system coordination study consisting of reviewing and updating existing drawings, developing a single line diagram, short circuit and coordination study, and providing reports. The estimated cost of this project is between $25k and $100k. SIC code is 1731. Solicitation packages to be available ooa December 15, 1997.
