J -- MAINTENANCE ON COMRAD STATION EQUIPMENT SOL DE-RP34-98RF01648 DUE 121297 POC Contracting Officer, Dawn Wilson 303-966-7764 The Department of Energy, Rocky Flats Field Office requires maintenance services to support five ComRad stations (located in the communities in proximity to Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site) with once a month visits to all stations for the purpose of ensuring proper function and appearance. Maintenance tasks will be accomplished as required upon the direction by the Contracting Officer's Representative or Alternate CTR. Each station is equipped with instruments to monitor gamma radiation, weather parameters, a continuous air sampler and a dosimeter. Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting at the major component and subassembly level and Colorado licensed electrician a must. Basic mechanical repair including hardware and sheet metal required, as well as an expertise of meteorological an environmental instrumentation and basic communication interfaces.
