The successful contractor receiving award shall be required to furnish all management, labor, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision needed to successfully perform uniformed armed and unarmed guard services at various/numerous, government owned/leased locations within (1) Kings and (2) Richmond Counties of New York State (primarily Brooklyn and Staten Island in New York City). SIC Code: 7381. The initial contract period is 1 year (12 months) with the Government having the unilateral option of extending services for 4 additional, consecutive periods of 1 year each. Award shall be made on or about 3/26/98 with services scheduled to start on or about 8/1/98. All bidders must have active or recent, similar-in-nature, successful guard contracts. All bidders must be legally licensed in accordance with State and Local laws as providers of armed and unarmed guard services. Licensing must be provided prior to award of the contract.
