Y -- SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION OF 8(A) TASK ORDER CONTRACT (TOC) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITIES 126TH AIR REFUELING WING RELOCATION SOL DAHA11-98-R-000X DUE 010898 POC Sharon G. The 8(a) TOC will be a multiple discipline, construction contract for project construction at Scott AFB, IL; Peoria, IL; and Springfield, IL in support of 126th ARW. Awards shall be made to two or more qualified 8(a) firms based on predetermined evaluation criteria. Potential construction projects are: (1) Construction of Office and Industrial Buildings-SIC 1541,1542 ($500,000.00-$5,000,000.00); (2) Parking Lots -- SIC 1611 ($1-5 Mil); (3) Final Grading & Landscaping -- SIC 1794,0781-2 ($1,000,000.00-$5,000,000.00): Estimated magnitude of combined projects is more than $10,000,000.00. The 8(a) TOC will be for a period of one year with two twelve month option periods. Technical Proposals shall include the following information for evaluation: (A) Company Experience and Past Performance; (B) Project Management Ability (Key Project Management Staff, Quality Control Plan, Technical Support Staff); (C) Subcontract Management, Identification of Key Subcontractors, Purchasing System/Level of Subcontracting; (D) Financial Capability and Accounting System Suitability. Anticipated award is early March 1998. Task orders will be issued for individual projects based on a combination of price and best value judgments.
