The December 9th CBD notice mistakenly stated in part "Proposals will be solicited that include a clinical trial protocol using long-term alpha interferon therapy in chronic hepatitis C patients with cirrhosis of the liver and hepatocellular carcinoma." However, that sentence in the notice should read "Proposals will be solicited that include a clinical trial protocol using long-term alpha interferon therapy in chronic hepatitis C patients to prevent cirrhosis of the liver and hepatocellular carcinoma."
