H -- CONCRETE TESTING AND INSPECTION SERVICES SOL 541-105-98 DUE 121997 POC Jeanelle Wright, Contracting Officer (440) 838-6091 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to procure services for concrete testing and inspections services during construction of the new 800 car parking garage presently under construction at the Wade Park Unit, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Services shall include inspection, testing, written and verbal reports. Inspection and testing shall meet all applicable test standards. Contract period shall be for a period of 420 days, excluding federal holidays. Contractor shall submit pricing in accordance to the 420 days, a extension may be issued to coincide with the full duration of the construction contract. Hours of operation shall be from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Government will award a contract resulting from the most responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the government no later than December 22, 1997. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
