Contract award will be determined by using Basic Source Selection Procedures. The procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis with small disadvantaged business evaluation preference. This office proposes to issue the RFP F03602-98-R0001 on or about 31 Dec 97. The project magnitude of $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and project performance time of 300 calendar days remain unchanged. The principle features of work for Project Numbers NKAK 95-1009 & NKAK 00-1001 include, but are not limited to: (a) Partial demolition of existing building and grounds area; (b) Provide general building construction; (c) Refurbish all interior building finishes; (d) Install new draft curtain in attic; (e) Install new telephone system; (f) Provide fire extinguishers and install extinguisher cabinets; (g) Install exterior building lighting; (h) Alter and install electrical, mechanical, and fire sprinkler systems; (j) Install new fan coil units; (k) Replace existing fire alarm system; (l) Replace building TV cable and install new cable outlets; (m) Convert first floor janitor closet to public bathroom; and (n) Final clean-up of building and construction site.
