Higginbotham (205) 235-7323 (Site Code DAAC01) Furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules, and drawings forming parts thereof for repairs to the reroofing of Building 119 at Anniston Army Depot. Work will include but not be limited to the following items: Removal of all asbestos-containing materials (ACM). The locations of these items, which occur in the roofing materials, are identified on the contract drawings; installation of new purlins, decking, lateral and diagonal bracing, and other roofing support members as indicated on contract dwgs; complete tearoff and replacement of built-up (flat) and sloped (shingled) areas of roofing at the building. Replacement of the roof will consist of an EPDM (fully adhered over mechanically fastened isocyanurate insulation) roof system on the upper (flat) part of the roof, and new metal roofing on the sloped portions of the roof; removal of original S.I.S roof and metal flashing from bathroom addition. In conjunction, withreplacement of roof, gutters, downspouts, and flashing will also be installed on the main building and on the bathroom addition. THIS PROJECT IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ELIGIBLE 8(A) FIRMS IN THE ALABAMA DISTRICT. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1761. Esti mated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. One Job. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Completion time is 180 calendar days from date of award.
