Purchase Description MLEE-JR-98001A contains the functional requirements of an AC Current Shunt Set required by the AF. A standard AC Current Shunt Set is defined as a set of current shunts with values of 30, 50, 80, and 100 Amperes. The AC Current Shunts shall not exceed 12 inches or 30.48 centimeters in height, 12 inches or 30.48 centimeters in length, 12 inches or 30.48 centimeters in width and shall not weigh more than 20 pounds for the combined weight of the four shunts. The AC Current Shunt Set shall be portable, such that normal handling and transportation will not alter accuracy or stability. All components of the AC Current Shunt Set shall be completely calibrated by a laboratory which conforms with ANSI/NCSL Z540-I-1994, paragraphs 9 and 13. Calibration of these shunts shall be accomplished by comparision to external standards traceable to NIST. Required quantity is 27 each with Option quantities of 0-40 each in FY(s) 99, 00, 01 and 02. Required deliver will be approx 3 ea First Articles within 270 calendar days after written notification of contract award and continue at a rate of 5 each every 90 calendar days.
