This project consists of work spaces in Building 601 at the Hebert Complex, East Bank Facility, 4400 Dauphine Street, New Orleans, LA 70146-5400 specifically rooms 4A409, 4A414, 4B105, 4B120 and 4B129. The system environment consists of a category five cabling system to the desktop. The focus will be on installing a structured wiring system in conduit, capable of supporting 100MB data transmission and structured wiring capable of supporting secure data transmission with cabling from a centralized location to specified work areas throughout the building. The contractor shall conduct a site survey of the work areas on 12 January 1998 to determine specific cable runs and termination points. Quantity: 1 job. Commence work: 5 days after the receipt of order. Requests for quotations will be available following the site survey. Anticipated award date: 29 January 1998. Type of contract: firm fixed price.
