Olsen, Contracting Officer Thie procurement is for one 15-kilovolt (kV) rated outdoor metal-clad switchgear assembly designated DWA. The metal-clad switchgear assembly is for use on a 13.8-kV, 3-phase delta system and shall include the power circuit breakers, interrupter switches, surge arresters, instrument transformers, bus, bus supports, accessories/auxiliaries, and cabling as described in the specifications. The metal-clad switchgear assembly is conceptual in nature and is not intended to limit the layout, assembly, and manufacturing of the specified equipment. The Contractor shall determine the arrangement of the metal-clad switchgear assembly which meets the specified equipment ratings and Yellowtail Substation site conditions. The metal-clad switchgear assembly shall be manufactured and tested in accordance with the latest applicable standards of the American National Standards Institute, Inc. (ANSI), The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), the National Electric Code (NEC), the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), and the National Electric Safety Code, (NESC), including the following: ANSI C37.20.2, ANSI C57.12, and NEMA publication No. SG-5.
