Contact 816-687-5466 Contracting Officer. Architect-Engineering services are required for design of various construction, repair and maintenance contracts at Whiteman AFB Missouri. Construction cost estimate for these various projects are between $500,000 and $5,000,000. The project will also involve and require disciplines for environmental, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and construction management (Title II). Specialized evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: (1) Specialized experience to perform design in all primary disciplines and related functions. List at least five (5) designs, two (2) must have been in Missouri or its surrounding states. (2) Professional qualifications: Experience and education of key personnel on the staff. The type and quality of project staff has been involved in the past and their ability to be creative and imaginative. (3) Professional qualifications including experience and innovativness of the contractor's inspector under Title II. (4) Capability to prepare drawings on CADD. All drawings are to be in Attachment 3, DFX or DGN format and shall be 100% compatible with Intergraph Microstation Computer Aided Drafting software. Documentation shall be furnished with each drawing file detailing level layer usage, and scale information for drawing. For final selection, Architects may be required to submit a sample disk or tape to confirm compatibility. (5) Past experience with respect to performance on work for DOD and other clients. (6) Location in geographical area of primary consideration is West Central Missouri and vicinity. (7) Volume of work previously awarded by this office and/or other DOD awards. A-E firms that meet requirements described in the announcement are invited to submit completed SF 254's and SF 255's (Architect Engineer Related Services for Specific Project) to the Base Contracting office. Firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data within 15 days from the date of this notice.
