The United States Postal Service is solicitating for proposals for indefinite quantity construction contracts for wall covering, floor refinishing, and interior/exterior painting for the Middlesex-Central District Office (portio of Middleex County, Essex and Worcester Counties). Sealed offers are due on or before Thursday, January 8, 1998 no later than 4:00 pm EST. The term of the contract will be for two years. Work will be defined on work orders issued, as required, for various amounts and types. Initial contract value is $200,000.00. Total contract will not exceed $1,000,000.00 for the two years. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THe RESULTS OF THE ADVERISEMENT WILL NOT BE BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT(S). Categories of work are as follows: wall covering, floor refinishing, and exterior/exterior painting. The work may be performed at various owned and leased postal facilities within the geographic area noted above. A proposal guarantee is not required.
