NASA Langley Research Center plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Installation of Motorized Valve Actuators on existing valves associated with the make-up air dryer system for the unitary plan wind tunnel, West area, NASA LaRC, Hampton, Va. A site visit will be held on January, 6 1998, 10:00 am. All interested offerors will meet at NASA LaRC,Building 1195A, Room 121, Hampton, VA. From there they will be escorted to the job site. NOTE: ONLY ONE SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD. Offerors planning to attend can contact the primary or secondary point of contact. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 1731 and $7.0 Million, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C2. The anticipated release date of RFQ 1-130-GGK.1412 is on or about 12/22/97 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 1/9/98. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
