This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N68936-98-R-0043 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with a SIC Code of 3674. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and DAC 91-12. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) intends to procure on a full and open competition basis 1,476 each of stacked FLASH memory module consisting of 4 AMD Am29F016B-90EI FLASH memory 2Meg X 8 bit chips, for a total of 8Meg X 8 bits per stack. The following characteristics are required: total outside dimensions are not to exceed 0.83" long, 0.54" wide, and 0.23" high. The mechanical interface is to be J lead pins, with 0.8 mmspacing between pins. The chips in the stack must be individually selectable with one CS (chip select) signal per chip. Maximum read access time is to be 90ns or less. Programming voltage is to be +5volts. Pin assignments of the device are to be as follows: left side, top to bottom, address 4 (A4), address 5 (A5), address 6 (A6), address 7 (A7), address 8 (A8), address 9 (A9), address 10 (A10), address 11 (A11), Reset, Vcc, Vcc, Vss, Vss, data 3 (DQ3), data 2 (DQ2), data 1 (DQ1), data 0 (DQ0), address 0 (A0), address 1 (A1), address 2 (A2), address 3 (A3). Pin assignments for the right side, top to bottom are: address 19 (A19), address 18 (A18), address 17 (A17), address 16 (A16), address 15 (A15), address 14 (A14), address 13 (A13), address 12 (A12), chip enable A (CEA*), chip enable B (CEB*), chip enable C (CEC*), chip enable D (CED*), no connect (N.C.), data 4 (DQ4), data 5 (DQ5), data 6 (DQ6), data 7 (DQ7), Ready/Busy (RY/BY*), output enable (OE*), write enable (WE*), address 20 (A20). An * denotes an active low signal. All other electrical characteristics (A.C, D.C timing, and programming) are to be identical with the Am29F016B-90EI. Operating temperature is to be -40C to +85C. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, California 93555 within 14 weeks after award.
