Smith; 703/614-4577 On behalf of the Army Research Institute, Defense
Supply Service-Washington intends to award a requirements contract from
this solicitation. The work to be performed addresses the conduct of
research, development, studies, and operations and maintenance relating
to training issues for Active Component and Reserve Component soldiers
and units in combined arms organizations with joint and collateral
exercieses and activities. There are three broad areas of work
anticipated under this procurement: (1) Task Area 1. Design and
development of innovative training strategies, methods, materials,
media, and training management approaches; (2) Design of training
assessment tools, and conduct of short term and longitudinal
evaluations of training and training transfer.; (3) Front end analysis,
training, and human performance implications on simulator system design
parameters. This contract will be for 60 months. This is an
