technical requirements will be listed in the NSWC Crane statement of
work. The Government seeks continuation of development of the
Multi-Source Correlator/Tracker (MSC/T) which is being developed for
the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The MSC/T software suite resides
upon a Sun SPARC Ultra II computer and serves as the operating software
which correlates the information received from the Navy CEC link and
from various air defense data links which have been forwarded from the
Air Defense System Integrator. The MSC/T then outputs correlated,
formatted information to the USMC CEC system display and workstation
LAN. The USMC requirements may include the following: Develop a three
dimensional version of the CEC large screen display software. Modify
the MSC/T software to accomplish coordination of the real time data
with near real time data. Modify the MSC/T software to allow input of
data link information from either the Air Defense System Integrator
(ADSI) or the Multi Source Correlator System (MSCS) software and
provide technical support for a test/demonstration to determine the
suitability of MSCS vice ADSI for use in the USMC shore-based CEC
system. Modify MSC/T to accept and display and integrate inputs from
CTAPS, IAS, and TCO agencies. Collaborate with NSWC Crane to evaluate
the effort in modifying MSC/T to accept/display inputs from AWACS,
Patriot, ASDS, AFATDS, JSTARS, RIVET JOINT, SABRE and agencies. Provide
on site technical support to a total of four test/demonstrations during
the January through September 98 time period. Collaborate with NSWC
Crane and MARCORSYSCOM to evaluate which software attributes are
missing from MSC/T to allow the USMC shore-based CEC to perform the
full mission as a Combat Element. Perform a market search to determine
the existence and difficulty of integration of candidate software
packages to fill the void. The Marine Corps as well as other service
branches, based upon the evaluations above, may have future
requirements and more detailed Statements of Work (SOW) for development
of interfaces for other systems during FY-99, FY-00, and FY-01. A five
year, requirements type contract is anticipated. POC for information
regarding this requirement is Ms. Hilda Quillen, telephone
812-854-2422, fax 812-854-5666, or e-mail quillen_h@crane.navy.mil;
e-mail solicitation requests are preferred. All responsible offerors
may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Numbered
