The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide sleeping, meeting space and meals for an AmeriCorps VISTA Pre-Service Orientation from February 22 -- 26, 1998. On February 22nd only, the following will be required: Beginning at 12 noon, a registration area in the main lobby of the facility with four (4) large tables; dinner in the main dining area (served at 6:30pm) for 100; Reception for 100 from 5-6pm; 50 sleeping rooms (doubles). Beginning on February 23 at 7:30am and through February 26, until 3:00pm, the following will be required:10 addditional sleeping rooms (for a total of 70 doubles) for a total of 140. One (1) large meeting room for 140 (16 round tables set for 8); Four (4) break-out rooms. [Room #1 to accommodate 50; rooms #2,3, & 4 to accommodate 20 each.] Breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the main dining area for 100 on 2/23; Breakfast, lunch and dinner to be served to 140on 2/24; Breakfast, lunch and dinner to be served to 140 on 2/25; Breakfast, lunch to be served to 140 on 2/26. [25% of these meals shall be kosher/vegetarian.] Two (2) coffee breaks served each day (AM & PM). Service for 100 on 2/23; service for 140 on 2/23-26. No PM break on 2/26. The AM break shall consist of coffee, tea and soda; the PM break of sodas and light snacks. A/V equipment to consist of: one (1) telephone at the registration desk from 2/22 -- 2/26; one (1) VCR and monitor on 2/24 & 2/25; one (1) microphone (wired) in the main meeting room all week; one (1) wireless microphone (handheld) in the main meeting room all week; one (1) flip chart in the main meeting room all week; one Flip chart in each of the four (4) breakout rooms all week.
