Z -- RENOVATE HEADS, BUILDING 603, 3RD FLOOR, NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, NEW ORLEANS, LA SOL N62467-97-B-7091 DUE 011598 POC Marlene Crawford (504) 678-2150 x 0 The work includes the renovation of seven (7) restrooms and adjacent janitorial closets in Bldg 603 including the replacement of plumbing, fixtures; replacement of doors including hardware; replace of partitions; replacement of toilets and seats; replacement of sinks and countertops; replacement of all mirrors and lighting; installation of ceramic tiles on walls and floors; installation of floor drains; installation of piping with insulation, soil pipe, and vent pipe; installation of furring to conceal piping; installation of receptacles at countertop areas; and installation of new suspended ceilings. Work shall be performed as indicated in the specification to address the presence of lead-based paint. An eighth (8th) toilet room complying to ADA Disability-Accessibility Standards will be created by capturing a portion of one existing room. Ventilation problems will be corrected by replacement of fans, exhaust duct cleaning and installation of louvers in doors. The end result is to match a series of new toilet rooms on 601-6, of which 671 and 672, in particular, were chosen as models. This solicitation is issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Estimated cost is between $250,000 to $500,000. The estimated duration of contract is 345 days for completion.
